Distribution: Circumantarctic and Subantarctic; off La Plata River (Uruguay) (Child 1995b, 1997, 1998; Weis et al. 2011). Uruguayan records: Child (1997): RV Atlantis II, cruise 60, sts 242 and 256. Depth 3906–4402 m.
