Spettacolo forum "Scelta unica": quando il teatro favorisce lo sviluppo di una coscienza critica

The article describes the experience of a group formed by students, professors and operators in a social field, who participated in a theatrical laboratory of “Teatro dell’Oppresso”, organised by the Università degli Studi di Messina in collaboration with “Libera” association, in order to promote critical “consciousness” about oppressions caused by mafia mentality in the daily relations.
By this experience, it was realised a “forum theatre show” that involved the participants in the collective search for a solution to the oppressive situation that was performed. In this way, participants became aware that nobody is freed alone, but with the effort of the group.
