General distribution: Northern, southern Italy; Italian, Swiss, Austrian Alps; Palaearctic, western Oriental.
Habitat preferences: primarily praticolous.
Remarks: Body length 420–440 µm. Length of anterior notogaster setae 25–30 µm. The length of notogaster setae can vary (Weigmann et al. 2015), they are longer in the present studied specimens than in the the keys and figures of Pérez-Íñigo (1993) and Weigmann (2006).
