Report associated with sponges: This species was reported among hydroids and sponges at 50 m depth from Antarctic Peninsula, Terre Adélie (Newell 1984).
Remarks: This species was also reported in various substrata: sand, hydrozoans, and kelp hold fast at depth of 12 m to 370 m from Antarctica (Newell 1984).
