The dataset is an updated version with more data fields and addional survey years.

VARIABLES:

Site_Number: Unique identifier of breeding site

Date: Date of observation

Observation_Type: 
   OBS = observed from a distance; 
   NestCheck = check by physically entering the nest
   Photo = record from nest camera*

Eggs: Number of eggs present at visit

Young: Number of young present at visit

Exact_Min**: (refer to Eggs and Young columns)
   "E" = 'exact' -- used when physically handled at a nest visit
   "M" = 'minimum' -- used when they have only been observed from a distance (binoculars etc.) 

Number_of_Adults: Number of adult (territorial) falcons observed at site visit

Hatch_date: Estimated hatching date of first young (estimated by backdating from age at nest visit); negative values apply to egg stage

Clutch_size: Number of eggs laid; based on observations of full egg clutches, or young up to 5 days old

Age-at-obs: Age of oldest young at the date of observation

*) In 2020 nest cameras provided some records despite no field survey was conducted
**) When field is empty there is no information on nest contents
