Uralaphorura schilovi (Martynova, 1976)

Remarks. In the original description of the species Martynova (1976) gave the pseudocellar formula as 32 / 033/ 33332. A study of the type material showed that a median pair of pseudocelli on Abd.III is always absent (the total formula as 32 /033/ 33232) as well as in other specimens from the Novaya Zemlya Archipelago (Babenko & Bulavintsev 1993), Northern Norway (Fjellberg 1998), Ural Mts., and Dolgii Island in Pechora Sea. The only addition which can be made to the most recent re-description of the species by Fjellberg (1998) is the number of parapseudocelli (see Table 1).
