Material examined: ESFM – SIP / 98 – 36, K 8, Limanbasi Cape, 20 July 1998, 0–5 m, on rocks, 3 specimens.

Remarks: Body wall thick, not transparent, with irregular dark bands on introvert. Trunk cylindrical, 17.5–18.4 mm long, 3–4.9 mm wide. Introvert 16.7–18.4 mm long, 2.2–3.1 mm wide. Introvert nearly as long as trunk length. Longitudinal muscle numbering 24–26 on posterior part of trunk, 18–22 on anterior part of trunk. Papillae on trunk granular, dome­shaped; 240–290 µm long on anterior part of trunk. Hooks arranged in over 50 rings, some of them incomplete; with a narrow clear streak with an indistinct granular triangle; indistinct or no secondary tooth (Figure 4 B); 30–75 µm high, 43–70 µm wide at base. A strong spindle muscle arising near anus; attached to posterior part of trunk.

Rectum well­developed; with a pair of wing muscles. Contractile vessel simple. Two black eye spots present. Anus and nephridiopores placed at same level. Intestine spiral with 8–9 coils. Nephridia 9.7–9.8 mm height, 0.5–1 mm wide; occupying 2–4 muscle bands. Trunk 1.8–1.9 times nephridia length. Retractors originating from 36 % of the distance to the end of trunk.

Distribution: North Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea (Cutler 1994). Depth range: 0­ 2050 m (Saiz Salinas 1988 b).
