Date: date the bat was captured for measurement
Season: hibernation or pre-hibernation
Location: two letter code for the state or province of the study site
Temperature: measurement temperature in respirometry, degrees Celsius
Metabolic rate: mass specific metabolic rate (mW/g)
Torpid metabolic rate: same as metabolic rate, but excluding any measurements where animals were not torpid
Evaporative water loss: mass specific rate of evaporative water loss (mg H2O per min per gram)
