PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND: 71 specimens examined from localities in Prince, Queens, and Kings counties (Table 1). The earliest records are from 1955 (Kings County: Upton, 18 July 1955 & 27 July 1955, L.S. Thompson, 21 specimens, ACPE).
Newly recorded on Prince Edward Island. Found across the northern and midlatitudes latitudes of the United States (Gordon 1985); also in Alaska and across Canada from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Labrador (McNamara 1991).
