Description

Edgbastonia (Barcaldinia) coreena (Ponder & Clark, 1990)

Jardinella coreena Ponder & Clark, 1990: 317, figs. 6F, 10B, 11C, 12E, F, 14E–F, 15A–C; Perez et al. 2005: 547 (C.400146).

Remarks. This species is known only from a couple of large muddy mound springs near the homestead of Coreena Station (Fig. 1) and has a smooth shell that is more depressed than in other members of the genus. It was recollected from this locality in May 2001 (C.400146) and Oct. 2002 (C.423235, C.426819).
