Webinar "Mosaik 3.0 - Open Source Smart Grid Co-simulation Framework"

Description

Nowadays, co-simulation is a very useful tool to combine detailed models of different domains for multi-modal analyses, to integrate components with different software stacks and to split the computational load of simulations between several machines.

Among different all-purpose co-simulation frameworks the open source tool mosaik is special in the way that it focuses on high usability and simple simulation setups. However, some use cases, especially the combination of continuous dynamics with discrete events (e.g. cyber-physical systems that rely on communication), were not supported efficiently.

This has completely changed with mosaik 3.0, which supports these hybrid scenarios, superdense time and many other features with minimal interface adjustments.

This webinar provides an overview of the mosaik 3.0 features and how it can be setup to run corresponding simulations.
