Espèce type: N. jonesi Ris, 1919.

Taille petite (L.: 27 mm), fine, corps noir avec des taches verdâtres; ailes avec les hypertriangles traversés, boucle anale de 5 à 6 cellules, une seule nervure transverse au niveau du ‘‘pont’’; ptérothorax avec 3 bandes vertes, 1 bande antéhumérale et 2 bandes latérales, plus 1 bandelette jaune adjacente à la carène médiodorsale; abdomen assez fin, nettement plus épais chez les femelles; appendices anaux supérieurs fins et parallèles.
