Description

Amynthas falcipapillatus (Thai, 1982)

Pheretima falcipapillata Thai, 1982: 826, fig. 2E; Do 1994: 77; Nakamura 1999: 63; Thai 2000a: 308. Pheretima (Amynthas) falcipapillata— Thai 1983: 125.

Amynthas falcipapillatus— Blakemore 2007a: 36; Blakemore 2008b.

Type locality. Vietnam (Ninh Binh: Cuc Phuong).

Type material. ZMUM (W.254), Russia.

Records from Vietnam. Ninh Binh (Cuc Phuong NP); Son La (Moc Chau) (Thai 1982; Do 1994).

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Vietnamese name. Giun nhú lưỡi liềm.

Remarks. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ", further examination was not possible because all previously collected material has been lost.
