Code, benchmarks and experiment data for the HSDIP 2017 paper "Structural Symmetries of the Lifted Representation of Classical Planning Tasks"

  • 1. University of Basel

Description

Please note that the ICAPS 2019 paper "Theoretical Foundations for Structural Symmetries of Lifted PDDL Tasks" supersedes this workshop paper. We strongly recommend to use the software and data from that paper instead: https://zenodo.org/record/2621897 and https://zenodo.org/record/2621424

For completeness, this bundle contains bundle contains code, scripts and benchmarks for reproducing all experiments reported in the paper. It also contains the data generated for the paper.

sievers-et-al-icaps2017wshsdip-fast-downward.zip contains the implementation based on Fast Downward. It also contains the experiment scripts compatible with Lab (likely v1.11, probably not v.2) for reproducing all experiments of the paper, under experiments/pddl-symmetries. The script 2017-02-17-lifted-stabinit.py contains configurations for running the experiments and the script paper-tables.py gathers the data and produces plots and tables. (Note that some adjustments to the scripts would probably need to be done.)

sievers-et-al-icaps2017wshsdip-data.zip contains the experimental data. Unfortunately, we only preserved the parsed and not the raw data. Each directory contains a "properties" file, which contains a JSON directory with combined data of all runs of the corresponding experiment.

Note on license: we chose GPL v3.0 or later mainly because we consider our implementation based on Fast Downward the main contribution of this package, and Fast Downward comes with GPL v3.0.
