Type locality. New Guinea.
New records: PAPUA NEW GUINEA: Morobe District, Wau 1200 m, 8–14.xii.1976, black light [G.F. Hevel & R. E. Dietz] - 8 males (NMNH), 1 female (NMNH), 2 males (OPC); Morobe Pr. Wau Ecol Inst 1200 m, Secondary Montane Forest, 1–10.viii 1983 [S.E. & P.M. Miller] - 1 male (NMNH).
