Diagnosis. Patrera pellucida resembles P. tensa by the similar embolus and route of the sperm duct in the tegulum of male palp (as in Figs 11C, 12A, 13B) and by having small hood in the female epigynum (as in Figs 11F, 12C). They differ by the small retrolateral basal projection in the cymbium, retrolateral tibial apophysis sinuous and furrowed in median area in the male palp (Figs 22C–E, 23A, B, 24D, E), and by the small and triangular lateral borders of the female epigynum (Figs 22F, 23C, 24F).
