Νεοεισερχόμενοι καταρτιζόμενοι και βαθμός αυτονομίας κατά την εγγραφή σε πρόγραμμα κατάρτισης στο ΔΙΕΚ Πάτρας

Στην παρούσα εργασία ερευνάται ο βαθμός αυτονομίας των νεοεισερχόμενων καταρτιζόμενων στο ΔΙΕΚ Πάτρας τόσο κατά την ηλεκτρονική όσο και κατά την αυτοπρόσωπη εγγραφή τους στην έναρξη της ακαδημαϊκής χρονιάς 2020-2021. Καθώς το 66% του δείγματος ανήκει στην αναδυόμενη ενηλικιότητα, ερευνάται ο βαθμός ετοιμότητάς τους προκειμένου να πραγματοποιήσουν μόνοι τους την εγγραφή τους. Η έρευνα έδειξε ότι η ηλικία δεν φαίνεται να παίζει ρόλο και στα δύο στάδια κατά τη διαδικασία της εγγραφής ενώ η ανώτερη μόρφωση επηρεάζει θετικά την αυτονομία στην ηλεκτρονική εγγραφή. Επίσης, η εμπειρία φοίτησης σε ίδια δομή κατάρτισης συνεισφέρει καθοριστικά στην υλοποίηση της αυτοπρόσωπης εγγραφής. Τέλος, ένα ποσοστό της τάξης του 15,5% συνοδεύονται από τους γονείς τους κατά την αυτοπρόσωπη εγγραφή στο ΔΙΕΚ παρόλο που δηλώνουν ότι κατοικούν μόνοι τους ή με φίλους.

New entrants and their degree of autonomy when enrolling in a training program at DIEK Patras

The present paper investigates the degree of autonomy of new entrants in Patras Public Vocational Training Institute (PPVTI) during both their online and in-person registration at the beginning of the academic year 2020-2021. Considering that 66% of the sample accounts for candidate-trainees in emerging adulthood, the degree of their readiness to enroll at the institute is examined. This study has shown that age does not seem to play a role in either of the two stages of the enrollment process, while higher education affects positively autonomy in online enrollment. Also, the experience of studying in the same training institute contributes significantly to the implementation of in-person enrollment. Finally, it is worth noting that 15.5% of the applicants were accompanied by their parents when registering in person at PPVTI, even though they stated that they live alone or with friends.
