These data comprise African buffalo body condition scores created from video files in Kruger National park in 2001-2002; a subset of these data were used in Ryan et al, 2012, as described in methods therein. This dataset contains 5,327 observations. DO NOT open this file in Excel, as the age ranges will be read incorrectly. 

Columns in these data are:
Date	Day/Month/Year
Herd	A code for each herd or herd subset
Sex	M male F female, X unknown
Age	In major stage ranges of years, based on visual assessment 
Cond	Condition score ranging from 1 to 5, described in the paper and references therein
Calf	Presence of a calf at heel X is yes, No Calf is no.
