Abstract: This article provides a summary of the role of the electronic know your customer system (eKYC) in preventing money laundering. The paper shows the important role of advanced technologies in crime prevention. The analysis of the problem was carried out taking into account the legislation and practice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
