		- The four columns (u,s,m,l) refer to photoreceptor stimulus estimates
	- The character matrix used for comparative analyses
	- The pruned Icterid phylogeny used for comparative analyses
	- An R file that includes instructions for repeating the comparative analyses
	- A NEXUS file that is organized for Mesquite, to be used for repeating Pagel 94 analyses

These data can be traced back to the specimens at the Delaware Museum of Natural History and the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia using the Specimen Appendix included as an online supplement to the paper.
