Data from: Spatial variability in tree regeneration after wildfire delays and dampens future bark beetle outbreaks
by Rupert Seidl, Daniel C. Donato, Kenneth F. Raffa, and Monica G. Turner
doi: 10.1073/pnas.1615263113

Two separate files are uploaded, containing the simulations for Lodgepole pine and Douglas-fir forests respectively. Columns are identical in both files.

### Columns are as follows:
StandID: Identifier for the individual stands analyzed
Year: Year of the simulation
Tph: Stem number (trees per hectare)
BA: Stand basal area (m/ha)
QMD: Quadratic mean tree diameter at breast height (cm)
SSSI: Stand structure susceptibility index (dimensionless [0,100])
sev25: Are outbreak severities >25% basal area killed supported? Binary variable (0/1)
sev50: Are outbreak severities >50% basal area killed supported? Binary variable (0/1)
variability: Binary variable, 0= simulations starting from spatially homogeneous tree regeneration, 1= simulations starting from spatially variable tree regeneration (i.e., the actual, observed data)
