These data are plasma metabolite concentrations of resting yellow rumped warblers measured immediately postflight or after fasting at rest for known durations. Birds ate two diets.

Idno: The bird ID
Duration: Flight or rest duration
InMass: The mass in grams of the bird before blood sampling
Group: experimental group, 1 = birds that ate high protein in fall and high carbohydrate in spring, 2 = birds that ate high carbohydrate in fall and high protein in spring.
Glyc: Plasma glycerol in mmol/L
Buty: Plasma beta-hydroxy butyrate in mmol/L
Uric: Plasma uric acid in mmol/L
NEFA: Plasma non-esterified fatty acids in mmol/L
Gluc: Plasma glucose in mmol/L
PL: Plasma phospholipids in mmol/L
Trig: Plasma triglyceride in mmol/L after subtracting free glycerol 
Logduration: Log10 of flight or rest duration
DietState: CR = high carbohydrate after rest, PR = high protein after rest, CF = high carbohydrate after flight, PR = high protein after flight,
