This repository upload contains data files and derivative data products for the paper titled "Dissecting a Zombie: Joint analysis of density and resistivity models reveals shallow structure and possible sulfide deposition at Uturuncu Volcano, Bolivia" submitted for publication in the journal "Frontiers in Earth Science" in 2021. Data files -------------------------------------------------------- "Table_Reductions_FinalG_forPaper.csv": (text file, comma delimited) gravity data with reductions and final gravity values used in paper Modeling Files ------------------------------------------------------- DensityModels.Zip includes three different models that represent the span of optimal models (see journal article for further explanation) from our inversion: -DensityModels/SmallBoundsModel: files for model with smallest acceptable span of density contrast bounds -DensityModels/MiddleBoundsModel: files for model with intermediate span of density contrast bounds, this is the model in article figures -DensityModels/LargeBoundsModel: files for model with largest acceptable span of density contrast bounds Each folder contains the following files: -Fil.dat: inversion residuals and regional trend information -gra.dat: input gravity data for inversion -Gri.dat: inversion mesh/grid -MAT_500GridStep.DAT: interpolated density model for display in Matlab -Mod.dat: output model file with density values See documentation in Camacho et al. (2011) for further explanation of the file formats for Fil.dat, gra.dat, Gri.dat, and Mod.dat. Matlab Codes ------------------------------------------------------- For convenience, MatlabCodes.zip contains Matlab codes for importing various GROWTH files: -ImportGROWTHMATMod.m: imports the MAT_500GridStep.DAT files as Matlab volume data -ImportGROWTHfil.m: imports Fil.dat files as a matrix -ImportGROWTHgra.m: imports gra.dat files as a matrix -ImportGROWTHMod.m: imports Mod.dat files as a matrix, including length scaling of model cells -WriteGROWTHgra.m: assists in writing a properly formatted gra.dat file References ------------------------------------------------------- Camacho, A.
