This dataset contains the data from:

Seppala et al. 2011. Food makes you a target: disentangling genetic, physiological, and behavioral effects determining susceptibility to infection. Evolution.

Data is saved as two tab delimited text files (exp1.txt and exp2.txt referring to the experiments presented in the article)


Data files have the following columns:

exp1.txt
1) fam - snail family
2) treat - treatment (1 = ad libitum feeding, 2 = no food)
3) block - block of the experiment
4) L1 - shell length in the beginning of the experiment (mm)
5) L2 - shell length in the end of the experiment (mm)
6) par - number of parasites infecting the snail

exp2.txt
1) fam - snail family
2) treat - treatment (1 = fed during the exposure, 2 = fed before the exposure)
3) L1 - shell length in the beginning of the experiment (mm)
4) L2 - shell length in the end of the experiment (mm)
5) par - number of parasites infecting the snail
