Elachista argillacea Kaila, 1997: 21. Type locality: U.S.A., California, San Bernardino County, Ord Mountain (Kaila 1997: 21). Holotype ♂, in EME.
Distribution: Nearctic. U.S.A. (California).
Subgenus: Aphelosetia; argentella species group.
Larval host plant(s): unknown.
