Modern management tools enterprise competitiveness

Introduction. In conditions, competition is the basis for the formation and driving force of the
development of market relations in the economy, requires enterprises to form their own competitive
advantages and ensure sustainable competitiveness.
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to generalize and analyze the definition of «enterprise
competitiveness», substantiate the main directions of increasing the competitiveness of enterprises.
Results. The problem of ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises is rather widely studied by
both domestic and Western scientists. Consequently, there are a significant number of approaches
regarding the interpretation of this definition. However, despite the many scientific works devoted
to the problems of studying competitiveness, there are still many controversial issues related to
terminology, elements and factors of enterprise competitiveness. At the same time, researchers
interpret the concepts of «competitiveness» and «competitive advantage» differently, which leads to
different approaches to the set of competitiveness controls.
In modern practice, there are three main approaches to the value of competition, but itself:
competition as a supermarket on the market; competition as an element of rink mechanism; Competition
as a criterion for which type of business starts. Advancing competitiveness is shaped by low factors,
some of which are cured, which can be regulated by the enterprise itself. Thus, an important change in
the form of the competitiveness of the enterprise the value of factors, which may be straightforward and
in advance, pouring into the activity of the enterprise and preventing its competition.
Conclusions. The basis for ensuring competitiveness and its management is a certain strategy,
which is formed by the company taking into account its own potential and advantages of competitors.
Currently, the market economy is dominated by a number of factors that reduce the competitiveness
of enterprises, which in turn requires owners to constantly monitor the impact of these factors on the
enterprise and develop certain strategies for managing the competitiveness of the enterprise.
