This folder contains data from the memory-task experiment.

Primary saccade latencies, horizontal saccade amplitudes and vertical saccade amplitudes can be found in "memoryTask_saccades". The column description can be found in the corresponding pdf.

Gaze shifts, detected by the Engbert & Kliegel (2003) algorithm, can be found in "memoryTask_gazeShifts". The column description can be found in the corresponding pdf.

Average vertical gaze traces of individual participants, used to calculate the gaze bias, can be found in "memoryTask_gazeTraces_*". Files, labeled with "*trial n*" contain gaze traces from trial n (area of interest: between online saccade detection and 700 ms after reference onset), files labeled "*trialNplus*" contain gaze traces from trial n+1 (area of interest: between online saccade detection and 700 ms after reference onset) and files labeled "*trialNplusFix*" contain gaze traces from the fixation interval in trial n+1 (area of interest: between 500 ms before online saccade detection and online saccade detection). Files which end with "*delSec*" contain data from the delayed-selection condition, files which end with "*_delErr*" contain data from the delayed-error condition and files which end with "*imErr*" contain data from the immediate-error condition. Each column contains the average gaze trace of one participant (averaged over all valid trials of this participant). Rows are the measured vertical gaze position (eye position was tracked with 1000 Hz, therefore, one row corresponds to one millisecond). The gaze traces are recoded relative to the cue in trial n ("*trial n*") or trial n-1 ("*trialNplus*" & "*trialNplusFix*"). Participant 9 was excluded.
