Distribution: Widely distributed in the southwest Atlantic Ocean including MPA Namuncurá I (Riemann-Zürneck 1975). It was also recorded by Pax (1922) in South Shetland Islands (Antarctica).
Remarks: This species was previously cited as Choriactis laevis at Burdwood bank (Riemann-Zürneck 1973).
