Description

Totta Ghauri & Ghauri, 1983

Totta Ghauri & Ghauri, 1983: 19–21 (as new genus); Schuh 1995: 16 (catalogue), 2002–2013 (online catalogue).

Type species: Totta zaherii Ghauri & Ghauri, 1983 from India, by original designation; monobasic.

Diagnosis. Recognized among the Myiommini of India by the relatively elongate pronotum (narrow rather than transverse, according to Ghauri, Ghauri (1988)) lacking a collar-like anterior margin, and with reduced callosities. Distribution. India, Nepal, and Taiwan. One species occurs in India.
