#DATABASE for the article "Metrological assessment of multi-sensor camera technology for spatially resolved ultra-high-speed imaging of transient high strain-rate deformation processes" #Authors: Adrien Vinel, Rian Seghir, Julien Berthe, Gerald Portemont, Julien Réthoré #20/01/2021 #GeM Nantes, UMR 6183 This folder contain some experimental data discussed in the linked article. Its organization is as follows: - Videos: folder that contains videos resulting from the application of the presented methodology to an inertial impact test. It contains a video of the temporally smoothed displacement fields, the resulting strain fields. And the resulting strain-rate fields, using the temporally smoothed displacement fields. - Test: folder that contains the images from the inertial impact test + the reference image used in the presented methodology. Note that the images are numbered accordingly to their corresponding sensor number !! - Static: folder that contains images taken with a static sample. Two sets are provided: - one obtained from the same mirror face permutation: this series was taken on a previous sample. A slight rigid-body translation/rotation may exist between this static set and the experimental one. - one obtained from a random mirror face permutation: this series was taken prior to the test in the exact same position - crack.vtk: mesh used for the dic procedure for the test. The file can be compatible with paraview and gmsh. - Calib_#.csv: file that contains the calibrated model corresponding to the permutation #. It is organized as follows: The first column contains the zernike polynomials parameter name (eg '00','-11' etc). The following columns contain the parameters values identifed for each sensor. Hence for instance the 3rd column contains the distortion parameters for the sensor 2 (3rd column minus 1st column); Note that: - Calib_2 corresponds to the experimental set and the static set named "good permutation". - Calib_1 corresponds to the static set named "bad permutation". - Connectivity.csv: file that contains the table of connectivity for the mesh used for the test. On row corresponds to one element, it contains the element's node numbers. - Mesh_nodes.csv: file that contains the experimental mesh nodes. The first column contains the X coordinates and the second the Y ones. - U#.csv: file that contains the nodal raw displacement in the # direction (ie, after the deconvolution of the distortions). One column corresponds to a time step. - U_VTK: folder that contains the vtk files associated to the raw displacement fields obtained during the experiment. - timeline.csv: file that contains the timeline of the experiment.
