Type locality: Centro Cientifico Rio Palenque [see Peck & Kukalová- Peck, 1980], Los Ríos Province, Ecuador.
Distribution: Ecuador: Cotopaxi, Los Ríos [one record for Centro Cientifico Rio Palenque as Pichincha Province, in error], and Pichincha Provinces.
Note: The female illustrated in Salgado (2003a: 121, Fig. 25) is a misidentification of A. coronaria Gnaspini & Peck [1996] (Salgado, 2013b: 68). Actually, we understand this record as doubtful, because it is based on females.
