Beloesthes Thomson, 1864: 23. Type species — Beloesthes megabasoides Thomson, 1864 (original designation).
Diagnosis. Prothorax with large central rhomboid tubercle; pronotum with protuberant tubercle on each side of middle; elytra flattened, centrobasal crest protuberant; each elytron with two postmedian acute spiniform tubercles. Number of species currently included: 1.
