Conserved type (Eriksen & al. in Taxon 48: 165. 1999): Sweden. Torne Lappmark, Abisko area, Latnjajaure, Eriksen 620 (GB; iso- ALA, BM, C, H, LE, O, S, UPS).

Current name: Potentilla nivea L. (Rosaceae).
