README Gilles Courret, Petri Nikkola, 24.11.2020 Project FNS Spark 'PycForce' Pycnoclinic acoustic force effect on transport processes in non-equilibrium plasmas Mesures obtained 29.06.2012 at HEIG-VD, Yverdon, VD, Switzerland =============================================================== Acquistion device: Spectrum card These files are named as follows: sync_pulse_[1-11].mat The raw measurements obtained with the two Spectrum acquisition cards integrated in the control PC of the experiment are recorded in these files offering 4 synchronized channels. These data are saved in Matlab *.mat type files. Each recording sequence corresponds to a different file comprising the 4 channels, at the rate of one vector per channel. These vectors are respectively the induced voltage "mortIndEcrete" which cannot be used, the control voltage of the "cardControl" pulses in volts, the voltage produced by the photodiode placed downstream of the bulb with respect to the microwave flux "photoAval", also in volt , and finally that of the photodiode placed upstream "photoAmont", also in volts. The acquisition frequency is 60 MHz. =============================================================== Acquistion device: Oscillo WaveRunner These files are named as follows: C[1-4]seq000[0-3].trc The raw measurements obtained with the Lecroy WaveRunner 44Xi oscilloscope, comprising 4 acquisition channels. For each recording sequence, the output of each channel is recorded in a separate file in native binary *.trc format including the time recording. These files can be read with the LeCroyReadBinary.m program, which the company Teledyne Lecroy provided to us. They are named as follows: C "n1" seq0000 "n2" .trc where "n1" designates the number of the channel (from 1 to 4) and "n2" the number of the sequence (from 0 to 3). For example, the file C2seq00003.trc corresponds to channel 2 and to sequence 3. Channel C1 gives the voltage applied to the cathode (in volts), channel C2 cannot be used, channel C3 records the control voltage "cardControl" pulses in volts, and channel C4 records the anode current consumed by the magnetron, in amperes. The acquisition frequency is 10 MHz. =============================================================== Acquistion device: Panasonic DMC-FZ8 Camera These files are named as follows: IMG_*.jpg These are the photos of the plasma in the JPG format. =============================================================== Acquistion device: Spectro CAS140 These files are named as follows: Spectrum[0-4].ISD The emission spectrum measurements made with a CAS140CT spectrometer in the native format.
