
# Reproduction package for the paper "A new lepto-hadronic model applied to the first simultaneous multiwavelength data set for Cygnus X-1"


This is a basic reproduction package for the paper "A new lepto-hadronic model applied to the first simultaneous multiwavelength data set for Cygnus X-1" by [Kantzas et al. (2020)](https://doi.org/10.1093/mnras/staa3349).



## Raw Data

* The Very Large Array (VLA) data (project code VLA/15B-236) were processed using the Common Astronomy Software Application (CASA; McMullin et al. 2007) and are stored in the data/VLA.dat file. 
* The NOEMA data (project code W15BQ (PI:Tetarenko) were processed using gildas (http://www.iram.fr/IRAMFR/GILDAS) and CASA, and are stored in the data/NOEMA.dat file. 
* The XMM-Newton data (ID 0745250501) were calibrated and filtered using the SAS v.16.1.0 and are stored in the data/XMM/ folder.
* The NuSTAR data (ID 30002150004) were extracted with the standard NuSTAR Data Analysis Software NuSTARDAS-v.1.8.0 as part of HEASOFT-v.6.22.1 and are stored in the data/NuSTAR/ folder
* The INTEGRAL Soft Gamma-Ray Imager (ISGRI) data were processed with the Off-line Scientific Analysis (OSA) software v10.2 and are stored in the data/INTEGRAL/ folder. 
* The results of the models are stored in the new_model/ folder.


## Software

* We use ISIS version 1.6.2-40 (https://www.sternwarte.uni-erlangen.de/wiki/index.php/Isis_tutorial)
* We use Xfig version 3.2.7b (http://mcj.sourceforge.net/)
* We use matplotlib version 3.3.2 (https://matplotlib.org/)



## Figures and Tables

* We provide the *data* folder with the subfolders INTEGRAL, INTEGRAL_Cygx1, NuSTAR, XMM, and the files data/VLA.dat and data/NOEMA.dat with the data mentioned above. 
* We provide the scripts to plot Figures 1 and 4 in the paper_figures.ipyng file.
* We provide the scripts to plot Figures 2 and 3 in the xfig/ folder and in the load_data.sl and bhjet_cahce.sl 
* We provide the figures in the new_model/ folder under the HH, HS, LH, and LS folders.
