maskcw_12h: mask of all cold (-1) and warm (1) advection events of a length of at least 12h. (0) flags denote no cold or warm advection event.
maskcw_6h: mask of all cold (-1) and warm (1) advection events of a length of at least 6h. (0) flags denote no cold or warm advection event.
maskcw_all: mask of all cold (-1) and warm (1) advection events. (0) flags denote no cold or warm advection event.
filter_sif: filter for proximity to sea ice. (1) indicates time steps, when the ACE track was close to or within sea ice. (0) flags denote when track was not close to or within sea ice.
filter_lsm: filter for proximity to land masses in the ECMWF model data. (1) indicates time steps, when the ACE track was close to land or to a model grid point which lies within land area. (0) flags denote when track was not close to or within land area.
