This course is usually provided as workshop. As this introductory course covers all data management domains, it can be readapted to specific disciplines. ### Motivation Knowing how to manage and organize research data is becoming one of the sine qua non conditions to guarantee the quality, durability and reproducibility of your data over time. Moreover, many funding agencies are now requiring that a data management plan be in place in order to receive research funding. All public that have or try to anticipate challenges in research data management, whatever data one might have. ### Public No specific research domain nor specific role are targeted. Nonetheless, the course is best suited to the ones already exposed to at least some RDM topics in an academic environment, i.e. academic researchers, research groups / labs staff, teachers, administrative staff, as well as bachelor or master students. ### Prerequisites * Technical: **None specified** * Data Management: **None specified** ### Pedagogical objectives * To acquire the fundamental knowledge regarding research data management and discover the resources at your disposal to better manage your data. * To master the best practices regarding research data management throughout its life- cycle. * To grasp the benefits of this practice and better learn how to answer the new requirements from funding agencies. * To appropriate and put into practice the tools at your disposal to optimize your research data management daily and over time. * To know the steps and tools to optimize the preparation of your research data management. * To share your experience with your colleagues. ### Presentation content 1.
