Southeast Pacific: ex. 1013464, 10/793, [ 64.275°S 82.608°W], 3294 m.
Remarks: This seems to be a rare species recorded from a few localities, mainly from tropical regions of the Atlantic, North Pacific and Indian Oceans. The previously most southerly record is from the South Atlantic, off South Africa ( 30°15’S 13°15’E) ( Zeidler 2012). Thus, the above is a new record, not only for the Antarctic Zone of the Southeast Pacific Sector but also for the South Pacific Ocean.
