... Ebben az évben, a XXVII. konferenciának ismét Szeged ad otthont, folytatva azt a tradíciót, amely az 1970-es esztendőben a 
Tisza parti városban kezdődött. ....  2014-ben az adatvédelem és az adatbiztonság kérdései kerülnek részletezésre. Természetesen az  egészségügyi adatok elemzése is újabb és újabb dimenziókat kap. Egyre több a mért és/vagy tárolt adat, melyek értékes forrásul szolgálhatnak népegészségügyi problémák nyomon követéséhez, finanszírozási kérdések új megközelítéséhez.  A konferencián bemutatott előadások kapcsolódnak a megvalósuló országos projektekhez, különböző forrásokból támogatott informatikai és egészségtudományi kutatásokhoz.
