The objective of the Waste2GridS (W2G) project is to identify the most promising industrial pathways of waste gasification and solid-oxide cell (reversible SOC or rSOC) integrated power-balancing plants. The project aims are to perform a preliminary investigation on the long-term techno-economic feasibility of the W2G plants to meet different grid-balancing needs, while using local biomass waste, and to identify several promising business cases with necessary preconditions. - Title: Renewable and consumption data in DK and Italy(South) - Creator: Zong, Yi - Date: 03-01-2020 - Subject: Hourly data for balancing needs in Denmark and Italy - Description: The wind and solar power, and electricity consumption hourly data in Denmark(DK1 and DK2 from the Danish TSO-Energinet.dk) and the southern Italy(SUD, SICI and SARD from the Italian TSO-TERNA)for 2018 & 2030 scenarios. The figures include the houry-based residual loads for each month and the histogram of up and down regulations, etc. Note:Energinet being the transmission system operator (TSO) in Denmark generally names the western and eastern Danish power systems as DK1 or Energinet DK-West and DK2 or Energinet DK-East, respectively; Terna as the italian TSO for transmission, grid security and balanceItaly’s electricity system is divided into zones. There are currently six active zones: Northern Italy (NORD), Central-Northern Italy (CNOR), Central-Southern Italy (CSUD), Southern Italy (SUD), Sicily (SICI) and Sardinia (SARD). - Format: EXCEL - Resource Type: dataset
