The system of quality assessment of French bilingual education is relevant in the European educational space, as it is implemented through mechanisms called monitoring. The process of collecting, processing and disseminating information on the activities of the education system provides continuous monitoring of its status and prognosis. One of the key positions of bilingual education is to evaluate its quality in accordance with the European standards.
Purpose. The object of this study are the investigation of the construct of Bachelor`s degree under the conditions of French bilingual education, the clarification of the term Bachelor`s degree, the analysis of the particularities of the final exam for the Bachelor`s degree in France.
Methodology. Research design draw on the clarification and analysis of the methodological approaches to the construct of Bachelor`s degree that involves seizing of the conceptual academic and practical knowledge, critical re-evaluation of the theories, principles, methods in the field of the professional activity or/and education, in depth cognitive and practical skills/attainments. Under the conditions of French bilingual education Bachelor`s degree is the witnessing of the realization European education standards.
Scientific novelty. Newly researched the etymology of the term Bachelor`s degree, proved the importance of the Bachelor`s degree in European (French) educational system; examined the attitudes of the top-level French scientists toward the problem of the evaluation of the pupil`s knowledge under the conditions of bilingual education.
Conclusions. The conducted research made it possible to substantiate the relevance of the bachelor’s degree in the European (French) educational system, to highlight the achievements of the French education system in the accessibility and objectivity of the examination for the bachelor’s degree, to prove the importance of obtaining a bachelor’s degree at the present stage.
