Description
Improving the transparency, reproducibility and efficiency of scientific research is a laudable goal and one that has been receiving widespread attention as of late. This panel presentation will bring together individuals working to implement the best scientific reproducibility practices within their varied individual settings, ranging from a research institute within a university, to an academic journal hosted at a university, and an institutional-level response within a university.
Presenters will present and discuss efforts to create and pilot a workflow for results reproduction, along with marketing options and solutions, implementation hurdles, and project status tracking. In addition, metrics of errors, project statistics, and costs will be presented. Finally, the implications of a results reproduction service on a university-based data archive will be expanded upon.
