re3data - Open infrastructure for Open Science re3data (https://www.re3data.org) is the global registry of research data repositories and portals (Pampel, et al. 2013). In December 2018 over 2.240 digital repositories for research data are registered using the comprehensive re3data metadata schema (Rücknagel, et al.2015). To identify suitable research data repositories a vast number of funders, publishers and research organizations from all around the world recommend re3data within their research data management guidelines. re3data is part of DataCite’s service portfolio hosted by the library of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in collaboration with the Helmholtz Open Science Coordination Office at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, the university library of Purdue University, USA and the Berlin School of Library and Information Science of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. The poster presents the current status of re3data as well as future improvements based on stakeholder requirements.
