Amblyseius triplaris DeLeon, 1967: 25 (synonymy according to Denmark & Muma, 1989: 94)

Specimens examined: São Carlos: M. guianensis, IX­2001 (1); M. venulosa, I­2000 (1). Pirassununga: C. pubescens, VII­2000 (2), 04­2001 (1); M. guianensis, X­2001 (3).

Associated phytophagous mites: Tenuipalpus sp. on M. venulosa.

Previous records: Brazil — Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo; Colombia; El Salvador; Honduras; Guatemala; Mexico; Peru; Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

Remarks: The measurements of 4 adult females collected are similar to those given in the original description.
