Data collected by Léo Varnet and Chloé Langlet Parametric bump noise experiment (main experiment) Each file in the three subfolders correspond to one of the NH or HI participants included in the parametric bump noise experiment. They are designated by the following code: MainExpNHI_id_SNR_gp.dat where id is the participant's identifier and SNR is the signal-to-noise ratio at which they performed the task (in dB SNR). gp indicates the processing of the stimuli (NH: no processing; testaudio: NAL-R processing) Data are organised as follows: Each row corresponds to one trial (i.e. one stimulus presentation and one response of the participant). The stimulus is composed of one of the four targets, indicated in the second column (1: Alda; 2:Alga; 3: Arda; 4: Arga) and one bump noise. The amplitudes of the 6 bumps in each instance of the bump noise are detemined by the level of the HF and LF cues, indicated in columns 3-4 (level from 1 to 5). The corresponding answer of the participant is given in column 5 (1: da; 2: ga). The correct answer (second syllable of the target) is indicated in column 6.
