Musical website: editorial work

The Internet is such an all-encompassing information environment that everyone can find the content that is interesting to them. One of the most popular kinds of content is the music. Websites that contain musical content are varied. These are the official resources of various organizations related to the professional production of music, professional singles and music bands, pages that provide an opportunity to watch the online concert of any singer of present or past times, presented on the Web and converged media sites of the radio stations, network editions of printed magazines and purely electronic music media. They provide the consumer with such multimedia components as music, video, and animation.

The requirements existing for creation of the web resources are analyzed, the specifics of creation of the text content for Internet resources is determined, the features of imagery for the web environment are considered, the basic principles of usage of graphic images and the rules of colour registration of the websites are determined, the main responsibilities of the editor when creating a site of musical direction are actualized, the architectonics and content of musical resources is investigated.

In the process of the study, the specificity of the architectonic organization of five musical Ukrainian sites was analyzed. It was determined that all of them contain text, graphic and audio-visual content, give the visitor the opportunity to become an expert on contemporary Ukrainian music, to get acquainted with the work of little-known music groups and solo performers. Accordingly, resources of this type are a significant contribution to the cultural life of the country.

The novelty of the work is explained by the lack of research on the topic.

The practical significance. Research will be interesting to all specialists, involved in the production of Internet content.

The results of the study can be used in the further study of the Ukrainian segment of Internet publications, the creation and development of similar Internet resources.
