Indexed Extended Abstracts from the 1st "Symposium on Contaminant Remediation with Zero-Valent Metals" at the 1995 ACS National Meeting in Anaheim, CA

Indexed extended abstracts from the first symposium devoted to the science and engineering of contaminant remediation with zero-valent metals, which took place as part of the 209th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society, Anaheim, California, USA (2-7 April 1995).

In 1995, this booklet was prepared by excerpting the extended abstracts for the symposium from the “blue book” of all papers presented before the Division of Environmental Chemistry at that ACS national meeting. The blue book was volume 35, number 1 in that series.

A table of contents and manually-compiled index were added. The page numbers come from the original blue book. The preface includes background on the symposium, the original reasons for preparing the compilation of abstracts, and a suggested format for citing individual extended abstracts from the collection.

Only a few copies of the paper booklet were distributed and the Division’s blue abstract books are long out of print and available from few libraries. So, in 2019, the booklet was scanned and optimized with text recognition to produce this PDF. It is provided here with permission of the American Chemical Society and the ACS Division on Environmental Chemistry.
