WhoLoDancE: Deliverable 4.4 - Generic application framework and required components

This demonstration deliverable concerns the integration of the Similarity Engine (as described in the deliverable D4.2) in the Generic Application Framework (GAF). The Similarity Engine implements a set of methods to measure the similarity between dance performances modelled using different data formats.

The Similarity Engine is a fundamental block for several applications developed within the project. For this reason, the consortium decided to adopt a client-server architecture and provide the Engine as an Internet service. We provided an extensive description of the Similarity Engine in Deliverable D4.2. Whereas, we provide an exhaustive description of the integration policy in order to build the Generic Application Framework in Deliverable D4.3. In section 0 of this document, we will give a brief overview of the integration of the Similarity Engine into the GAF such as described in D4.3.

We prove the effectiveness of the GAF and the application integration procedure on use cases involving real  performances. We will describe the performances in section 3.
