WhoLoDancE: Deliverable 6.2 - Report on intersection detection and feedback software layer development

This report lays out the principles, the software structure and the flowcharts made for the intersection detection between a physical dance student and a virtual expert dance teacher. The report also includes the programmed implementation plan covering the methods of Interactive multimodal feedback.

Section 1 introduces the report and lists its objectives. Section 2 refers to rationales deployed in the decision making and prioritizing processes. Section 3 describes the demonstrator built and tested for the deployment of the paradigm of “Staying inside a virtual body”:  addressing technical challenges in responsiveness, lag, latency & data-streaming, software development issues and creative challenges of its usage by a dance student. Section 4 describes the implementation plan covering the methods of interactive multimodal feedback.
