## What is this dataset?

An open, machine-readable corpus of **9,389 documented slot-machine bonus openings** captured across **392 live-streamed "bonus hunt" sessions** on the Danish casino review platform **casinoaftaler.dk** between January 2024 and July 2026.

Each bonus opening records the exact stake, payout, resulting multiplier, slot title, game provider, and the casino operator where the session was hosted. A large subset is cross-referenced to the YouTube VOD of the session in which it was opened, allowing any third party to independently verify individual data points.

This is, to the authors' knowledge, the largest publicly released empirical bonus-hunt dataset for the regulated Danish (`.dk`) casino market.

## Why publish it?

The Danish online gambling market is licensed and supervised by **Spillemyndigheden**, but empirical player-side data on slot bonus performance (hit rate, average multiplier, tail-end variance) is virtually never published in a citable format. This corpus is released to enable:

- Independent verification of the empirical claims made on casinoaftaler.dk.
- Academic and journalistic research on gambling variance, volatility, and player return-to-player realism.
- Comparative analysis of game providers and slot titles by observed (not marketed) performance.
- Consumer-protection research and responsible-gambling policy work.
